Ariana Grande is set to portray Glinda the Good Witch in the upcoming film adaptation of the beloved musical “Wicked.” However, the iconic Elvira, known as the Mistress of the Dark, has stirred up some drama by calling Ariana out for her alleged diva actions.
The Queen of Halloween recently engaged in a Q&A session at Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California, where attendees were curious about her past encounters with celebrities, including one notable interaction with the pop star.
According to Elvira, Ariana once attended one of her events accompanied by approximately 20 guests, all enjoying their time on the house. She also went backstage after the show to say hello to the horror legend.
During their meeting, Ariana requested if her family could take several photos alongside Elvira, to which the iconic character obliged with enthusiasm.
Nonetheless, when it was Elvira’s turn to ask for a similar photo with Ariana, the pop sensation reportedly dismissed her request with a “thank u, next” attitude, bluntly stating, “No, I don’t really do that.”
Elvira further recounted the incident, saying, “She left before my show began. While all her relatives stayed, she decided to take off. Just putting that out there.”
Elvira’s revelation has ignited a firestorm of responses across social media, with many taking her side and arguing that this incident is even worse than Ariana’s notorious donut-licking scandal.
Conversely, a number of internet users have come to Ariana’s defense, asserting that her refusal to take the photo wasn’t as significant as portrayed, with some even questioning, “Who is Elvira?”
