Julia Fox made a striking impression at the 2024 Rome Film Festival on Sunday, as she brought a refreshing sportswear twist to the traditional red carpet styling during the premiere of her latest film, “The Trainer.”

Known for her bold fashion choices, the “Uncut Gems” star donned an eye-catching ensemble crafted by Willy Chavarria in collaboration with Adidas. This standout outfit featured an open-front track jacket adorned with blue stripes and defined shoulder lines, paired with a flowing white maxiskirt that exuded elegance while remaining comfortably stylish. To complement her look, Fox accessorized with a chic black and white Dsquared2 clutch, which cleverly included an attached glovelet, adding a unique flair to her appearance. Her makeup choice enhanced the overall aesthetic; she showcased soft pale blue eyeshadow complemented by a subtle mauve lip, while her platinum blonde curls peeked elegantly from beneath a white skull cap, contributing to the ensemble’s overall modern and chic vibe.

Designer Willy Chavarria elaborated on his creative vision, stating, “I wanted to do something in the financial district, in the heart of the American capitalistic system. At the same time, I aimed for it to encapsulate an essence of America that often goes unrecognized.” His latest collection, which prominently features themes of uniforms, sportswear, and workwear, was recently unveiled at New York Fashion Week in September, making a bold statement during the event held directly across from the New York Stock Exchange.

With a creative twist on the concept of American fashion, Chavarria shared his unique perspective, stating, “I’m approaching it from a way where I’m cholo Ralph Lauren, or even chicano Michael Kors.” These musings highlight the merge of cultural identities within contemporary fashion, specifically illustrating how uniforms and streetwear aesthetics intersect.

Julia Fox also made headlines earlier this August when she was spotted in New York sporting a striking look in a $125 Gap shirtdress designed by Zac Posen. She styled the dress off the shoulder, adding her personal flair with mismatched buttons, sheer white gloves, a hood, and a funky wide-brim hat. Fox completed her ensemble with Dsquared2 pumps featuring a logo plaque, as well as a stylish clear top-handle purse, showcasing her eclectic yet fashionable sense of style.

Interestingly, Fox is not the first celebrity to don Posen’s Gap shirtdress. Anne Hathaway previously modeled this versatile piece during the spring, pairing it with extravagant Bulgari jewelry, proving that the dress can be styled in multiple ways to suit various fashion sensibilities.
