Luxury fashion often comes with a reputation for being bold and attention-grabbing, but true style lies in the art of subtlety. A $60K outfit doesn’t have to scream opulence—it can exude quiet confidence, effortless sophistication, and refined taste. Here’s how to wear a high-value ensemble in a way that feels understated yet undeniably chic.
Understated style is all about balance. When working with high-ticket items, less is often more. Clean lines, neutral tones, and timeless designs that you KNOW will last you forever , are key. The beauty of some luxury items is that they become your investment pieces, this is sustainability 101. Instead of buying 100 Shein t-shirts, buy 2 high end ones , the quality, the way they wash ( you can wash some of them 1000 times and they will still look the same!) and the fit will last you for years if not decades , the idea also fights the never ending consumption, as in .. why does one need 10 coats which end up costing more then one coat that you know you can wear for 30 years anyway??
Yes of course we all want variety and you dont wanna wear that one same coat for the rest of your life but if you get say one high-end coat , you can then play with those that you know you will wear one or two times and will then gift them or resell it or give away to the charity. But Keep the basic pieces sustainable. You will always look well put together.
So:
Here’s how I styled that 60K outfit to achieve that understated, effortlessly polished vibe. The Hermès Kelly Bag is the centerpiece of the look. This iconic piece is a quiet showstopper with its structured design and flawless craftsmanship. Paired with minimal accessories, the bag becomes the focal point without overpowering the outfit. The clean silhouette and neutral color make it versatile and elegant, adding sophistication without drawing too much attention.
For jewellery : The Cartier Love Bracelet adds a hint of luxury without feeling overdone . Some say these bracelets are over done but for me the ones i have, represent something emotional. Plus the value of these bracelets increase with time. So whoever says ‘omg Cartier is sooo done’ i hate that, its like ..let people wear what they WANT to wear and what they LIKE. I am not forcing my opinions on them so why the hell are they so triggered by those who WANT to wear these pieces ? If you don’t like Cartier, literally nobody is forcing it down your throat. ( a bit of a rant here 😌)
Next: for this look i wore a prada basic t-shirt ( they sell them in a pack so i just bought that) When i need to look smart i wear those, when i wanna chill i wear Oysho ( my fave casual wear fyi, everything is so soft and the fit .. well it fits) , with the Prada t-shirt i wore a Vince cashmere jumper ( super soft) , and Tom Ford jeans ( these jeans fit soooo well!! I switched from my usual Zaras , to Tom Ford and that says a LOT as i used to be a fan of Zara’s jeans for years . They USED to fit me soooo well. Something’s happened and they are not the same ) So, If you are looking to get some designer jeans , and have a similar built to me , go and try the Tom Fords and they don’t have loud logos.
Always keep in mind that neutral tones like soft beige, cream, dark greys and black etc, create a clean, polished look that feels luxurious without being loud.
Now : FOOTWEAR. Is . So. important. Shoes can make or break an outfit, and in this case, the Prada boots in crocodile leather , complemented the overall aesthetic perfectly. Those boots: i am never getting rid of them. I looked at how much they cost now ( i bought them 3 years ago) and they go for a mad amount of money ( we are talking THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS.. u can buy a whole Birkin for that price . Mad ) Finishing the outfit with THE most classical Max Mara wool coat ( will always always be in fashion) , Dior pashmina, and Saint Laurent glasses.
So. Let me add this:
Understated luxury radiates confidence because it doesn’t rely on loud logos or overly flashy details. It’s about knowing the value of what you’re wearing and expressing it in a way that feels authentic and effortless. Notice how those who need to scream ‘ i can AFFORD THESE THINGS’ are always wearing clothes that are loud. And those who REALLY can afford them, will be wearing 100k worth of stuff yet nobody will ever suspect a thing. Having said that: when i go to an event , or want to go all out, i LOVE wearing LOUD clothes but not in a way that they scream ‘ OMG LOOK IT’S EXPENSIVE’ but in a way i mix colours and textures. ( i will show u some of those things in the future )
Listen: As the owner of Tzarina By Ollia, I’ve worked with some of the most iconic celebrities in the world, from Beyoncé in her BEST era to Haifa Wehbe , Kendall ( i love her as a model , girl is built for that) and many many more including some european based princesses 👸. I have learnt that True style is about self-expression, confidence, and balance.
Luxury doesn’t need to be loud to make an impact. A $60K outfit can look understated and elegant when styled thoughtfully, with attention to detail and a focus on timeless pieces. It’s about owning your look, embracing quality, and letting the details do the talking.
