“Imagine one of those mini dresses paired with the raincoat embroidered with Baccarat raindrops? That’s a sick outfit!” — Editor-in-Chief Olexis Xenakis was overheard saying to a celebrity stylist during lunch at the Plaza Athénée in Paris.

That’s how we going to start our quick review as not many of you are looking to read a 2000 words essay so let us get straight to the point .

So Imagine a piece of clothing that combines floral shapes, geometry and sci fi ? That’s what the collection looks like.

Cadwallader’s collection was a blend of modern wigs, sharply tailored suits, and dresses inspired by flowers with a touch of darkness. Celebrating Mugler’s 50th anniversary, Cadwallader took the opportunity to dig into the fashion house’s archives, saying it was the perfect time for a “refresh”.

Rather than typical floral designs, Cadwallader took inspiration from a 1982 Mugler collection and reimagined it through a darker, more structured lens. Sharp edges , geometrical shapes, exaggerated shoulders, and sculptural heels added an edge to traditionally feminine styles.

One standout moment came when Cadwallader unveiled a dress with Baccarat crystal drops on clear netting, topped with a transparent PVC rain slicker. It was a creative response to the rainy Paris weather, mixing fashion with function.

Have you ever seen a couture raincoat with glass raindrops? Neither have we, and we’re betting that *this* piece will soon be the most coveted by celebrity stylists for their clients.

Place your bets ladies and gentlemen ! 🙂
