Saint Laurent PAP SS 2025 Paris Fashion Week September 2024

In a dramatic shift from his usual sharp, minimalistic aesthetic, Anthony Vaccarello stunned the fashion world with Saint Laurent’s 2025 show, presenting a collection that embraced an exciting blend of masculine tailoring, bohemian ease, and rich, decorative maximalism. The event, held under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower ( which made us go like OMG ) , was not only a spectacle of fashion but a testament to Vaccarello’s evolving creative vision.

Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2025 show opened with a lineup of impeccably tailored suits, each piece cut to perfection with sharp lines and broad, powerful shoulders. The masculine elements were mixed with intricate details—think lush velvet, metallic accents, and rich embroidery—that added a luxurious softness to the otherwise structured silhouettes. Wide-legged trousers grazed the floor, offering a sense of effortless sophistication, while oversized blazers were cinched at the waist, blending power with sensuality.

What truly marked a departure for Vaccarello was the infusion of bohemian elements, something rarely seen in his previous work. Flowy chiffon dresses, adorned with bold prints and layered fabrics, created a stark contrast to the clean, precise tailoring. The ease of the bohemian aesthetic was evident in the relaxed, off-the-shoulder designs and romantic, billowing sleeves that moved with the models as they glided down the runway.

In a striking move, the designer also leaned into maximalism—an unexpected but welcome addition. Models shimmered in sequined gowns and lavish capes, with intricate beading and feather embellishments that evoked a sense of luxury without overloading the senses. The mix of textures, from silk to velvet, lace to leather, created a rich tapestry that felt both modern and timeless.

The accessories in the show further exemplified Vaccarello’s evolving vision. Bold, oversized jewelry paired with the collection’s opulence, while sleek boots and sharp stilettos grounded the looks in the brand’s signature Parisian edge.

Zoë Kravitz, Hailey Bieber, and Timothée Chalamet sat front row, applauding Vaccarello’s daring departure from his usual designs. The show felt like a reinvention, a signal that Saint Laurent is entering a new era—one where elegance meets artistic freedom, and restraint coexists with bold experimentation.

In this 2025 collection, Vaccarello managed to fuse Saint Laurent’s heritage with a fresh, forward-thinking approach, proving once again that he is a master of both precision and innovation.
