Vetements has seen a dynamic transformation over the past decade, particularly with Guram Gvasalia now leading its creative direction. Under his guidance, the brand has amplified its visibility by connecting with high-profile personalities from music, Hollywood, and fashion, boosting its influence and reach.

The Spring show made a bold start with Travis Scott, clad in sleek black biker leathers that accentuated his physique, setting an energetic tone for the night. Gigi Hadid followed, wrapped in DHL tape—a nod to a famous T-shirt worn during Demna Gvasalia’s time with the brand, when he chose unconventional venues like Chinese restaurants and gay bars for runway shows.

The event was held in the raw, gritty space beneath Montparnasse Tower, where a massive pile of old garments, arranged to resemble a chaotic birthday cake, greeted attendees at the entrance.

While the star-studded audience included Marcia Cross, Heidi Klum, and a visibly pregnant Carmen Kass in bold lingerie, the show felt more nostalgic than forward-thinking. Other notable guests, like J Balvin, Tom Daley, and Camila Cabello (almost unrecognizable in a black balaclava and sparkling earrings), added to the spectacle, but the collection leaned heavily on past references.

The designs featured a wild mix of BMX-inspired gear, hunched-shoulder hoodies, Frankenstein-like suits, and layers of lingerie, T-shirts, and wedding dresses—a blend that, while eye-catching, lacked cohesion.

Despite this, the show was undeniably dramatic, with models descending escalators through a maze of surveillance cameras. The finale bride, nervously glancing over her shoulder before dashing off with her skirts lifted, delivered an unforgettable closing moment.
